Acetone Removers.

Acetone or non-acetone

Removal products split into two families, and settling that split is the first decision on this page. Acetone is the solvent behind soak-off work. Non-acetone removers are the other family. Keeping both on hand means one solvent is not being asked to do both jobs. Where a tip, adhesive or press-on brand tells you to avoid acetone, follow that manufacturer's own instructions. Check each maker's directions and SDS for what its formula is intended for and how it should be handled.

The solvent is only half the job

A soak-off is a wrapping technique as much as a chemical one. Foils and remover wraps fold around a saturated pad. A remover clip holds that pad in place. Where a kit collects the step into one purchase, its contents are set by the brand, so read that listing before you assume what is included. Plain cotton backs the pad, and a nail file breaks the shine on the top layer first so the solvent can get underneath.

Before and after the soak

Cleanser and Removers and Polish Removers are separate collections. Check either one when this page does not have what you came for. Once the plate is clear, cuticle oil goes back on before the new set begins.
