Two ways to add length with gel

A soft gel tip is pre-formed and sized to the nail, set with an adhesive or base gel and cured under a lamp, so the shape is decided before you start. Builder gel is applied and shaped by hand, on the natural nail or over a form, which puts apex, thickness and curve under your control. It can be reworked while you are still building, and it does not depend on a pre-formed tip fitting the plate. Builder gel is the separate list covering that method.
